We started our night listening to someone on our team yelling some type of war cry. I'm not sure but it sounded like he had a Scottish accent.🏴 That guy was definitely fired up for the match. He sounded like he was running on caffeine and whiskey.
I was in B group commanded by @Reverend. tyedye X . He informed us we were supporting A group. We fired two volleys in support and then went on a flanking maneuver. We popped up on the enemies right flank. "Good shit! This one's for all the marbles!:Scattershot: Get on the line boys! Whoever gets a hit, gets a kiss!" said @Reverend. tyedye X . Unfortunately, I didn't get a kiss.😘 After that volley we went into a bayonet charge.:SwordSwing: As usual I died again but the 43e won the match.:SkellyDance:
The second match turned out to be an unofficial mega line. We exchanged a few volleys with the enemy. I scored a very rare kill with a rifle.:weapon_EyeofReach: I have to admit I don't like playing the Italians in this game. They have so many different colored uniforms. It's hard to tell the enemies from friendlies. I was bayonetted from behind by someone who I thought was a friendly. It made me think of that old world war II saying, "I'll sell you an old Italian bolt action rifle. It's never been fired, only dropped once.":weapon_EyeofReach: It's hard to believe the Italians in this era are the descendants of the Roman empire. Overall, it was a good bayonet charge for 43e and they seized the day.
I could go on in more detail about the rest of the matches but I realized the story is going to get way too long. I would like to add that I was recognized for my storytelling in the debriefing. I do appreciate it so I gave more boost to the discord server. I find humor in this because I recently discovered the internet 5 years ago. I could have been boosting my old discord group that I wrote hundreds of stories for. They kicked me out so.... screw them.🖕 I could go in more in details but I'll save that for another story.
