The 43e Régiment Volume 34

* 1/22/26 8:00 p.m. Thursday's Event * So much has happened since the last time I wrote a story. The 43e:43eemblem: is almost at 2100 members. That's 500 more members since I joined two months ago and I haven't even recruited a single person! I have to admit, I'm a shity Sergeant in the 43e.:43elarge: Despite the fact that I keep referring to myself as super recruit, I still haven't received the role. I think @President Jarl is punishing me by keeping me at the rank of sergeant. For those who don't know, when you become an NCO you get twice as many alerts in the discord. Anyhoo, enough about me. Bravo company was led by @BigO that night. We didn't have a great start. We were behind what appeared to be good cover as a cannonball landed right in the middle of the line.:cannon: The cannonball took out half the line with all of the officers. * Watch the video after the story for more information. * As I watched the remainder of the round, I was thinking about the style of play of the other officers of the 43e. @1DR | Crusader always has good tactical knowledge of the map and always manages to pour lead on the enemy from a distance. This tactic works pretty well and it keeps the men under your command alive longer. @Reverend. tyedye X is similar to the Colonel with the exception that he likes to go on more flanking maneuvers. When everything goes to plan, it is a great tactic. The only problem is it doesn't always go the way you plan and the flankers end up getting flanked.:MurraySkull: @ThecmyDragon has a more aggressive style and for some strange reason it works every time I play with him. He leads us straight up the middle like some kind of vanguard / suicide squad. :SwordSwing: I do get more kills with this style, but I die a lot as well. Then again, I die a lot no matter what tactics are being used. What is @BigO's style of play you're probably wondering? The poor guy got promoted Sergeant Major so he must be doing something wrong. I know he's just like the other officers (including the war criminal Dragon) who wants to keep the people under his command alive as long as possible. As for the rest of his leadership qualities.... I'll have to save that for another story.
