Dear mother and father The battles as a volunteer have been hard and bloody, my second action has taken place and i'm officially tp be a pvt if i survive this conflict coming up, i killed my first man today....still hear his screams in my head... our bloodiest days were yesterday....we saw an enemy line of prussians flanking our ruined fort...we were marching when we lost half of our men from friendly artillery....i myself lost a leg and was found unconscious...i was dragged back to medbay to have it amputated and i'll be serving later today...desperate times mean even those who can fight, do so. I hope to see you at the end of this bloody war....
