Dear Family

The past few months i your son has been extremely honourable and cares about others just like you guys but I’m on the American side i know you guys raised me to fight with my true brothers and arms and I know I’ve been given the Victoria cross In my old regiment but I feel at home near the Americans even tho they call me British dog and lobster back I don’t care because they picked me up after a big loss on the battlefield I was wounded they could of killed me but they didn’t anyway you know how strong I am since that day. I’ve been trying to prove my self over the months I’ve been here I’ve been here since February I didn’t tell you because I was afraid what you would say but it doesn’t matter anymore anyway enough about that Im doing well a few battle scars but nothing I can’t handle
