The 43e Régiment Volume 11

We were short-handed tonight even though a lot of people said they were coming to tonight's event. @President Jarl's frustration was only magnified by the lack of recruitment.😡 It looks like the 43E is going to stay in third place for now. To lighten the mood, somebody in our group chat said, "It's not the size of the boat that matters, it's the motion of the ocean.":ship: "That's so strange," I thought. I say the same thing to my wife all the time.

Due to the lack of men, all the lines fought together, even the post boys.( @(B) Sgt. CatchingRock @whitegreyblack ) The 43e🇲🇫 gave a spectacular volley at long range that quickly evened the odds. We won the match to our surprise in which the @1DR | Crusader said, "Fuck the imbalance!"🖕

The enemy adjusted and the rest of the night didn't go our way. In one match, I was standing next to @reaper2-4 when a cannonball landed right in the middle of our entire line.:cannon: Eleven of 43e were killed including myself. "Charlie got his shit together tonight," I said. Don't ask me why I was talking like it was the movie, 'Platoon.' It just seemed natural at the time.

In another match we played against the British on the new map that looks like the Highlands of Scotland.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Our unit experienced classic highland charge. The @1DR | Crusader quickly realized the situation and got everyone to the line to fire one volley before the melee.:BoatswainFire: The battle was magnificent like something out of the movies. The highlanders charged down the hill while the bagpipes played, 'Scotland the brave.' There were too many of them. Eventually we were overwhelmed and lost. I couldn't help but notice some of them were wearing the new Highlander skins and all I could think was, "Damn I got to get me one of those."
